Memre & Beaumont’s special day

What a beautiful wedding in Elgin (one of my favourite places in South Africa), this was! All the elements and colours were just lovely and created such a casual, relaxed but fun atmosphere.

We had so much fun creating all the special touches and DIY bits!

How sweet is that?!?

Swan Love - Naturals and Sparkles

Oh I do love me a little natural textures, rich fibres, thick wooly blankets. And when it is paired with some sparkles, it just gets better and better! We think this is a perfect winter wedding look. You?

Wedding Album magazine feature

We are so excited to be featured in Wedding Album ONE 2013 magazine! Being huge fans of this beautiful bridal publication we were thrilled to take part in a styled shoot for their feature Field of Dreams.

We created lasercut feathers, linen tote bags, glittery envelope liners and kraft paper pockets. But gasp, how lucky were we to work with industry greats! Marissa Pretorius from Opus did an amazing job with the flowers and Cornelia Badenhorst from De Liefde styled it all. We love the end result!

A huge big thank you to Highbury Safika Media!

Colour lover - Dreamy purple hues

How lovely is this photograph and how incredible are these purple artichokes?! I could just get lost in these soft and beautiful colours
all day.

If someone could knit me a blanket with these colours I would be a
very happy Swan. Sigh.

Have a look at Meg Smith’s website for more of her beautiful photography and check out the rest of this shoot here.

Trending - creamy neutrals

Yesterday we did a showcase of the past season’s watercolour wash trend (which we still LOVE!). Today, we are stepping back just a little and looking at the soft, creamy neutrals that covered our workspaces for the past few months.

I just love this trend of stripped back, pure perfection. Beautiful textures, simple layouts, layers of cream. Hope you like it too!
