Nina & Peter’s magical wedding

Seriously, this wedding… were it not for the love that radiates out of these two for each other, you would think this is a styled shoot!

Gorgeous couple, beautiful setting, so many lovely details not to mention an AMAZING wedding dress.

This is perfection!

Thank you Mare Rootman for these amazing images!

Karoo romance

A few weeks ago we did a blog post on Eugenie-Lien and Piet’s wedding invitations - and what a blast the wedding turned out to be. It is a long long way to get to Piet’s hometown, Williston, but oh my, it was worth every kilometer! Have a look at these amazing photos the wonderful Maree from Natural Light Photography took. She perfectly captured the amazing setting!

I have never seen Eugenie-Lien so beautiful! She was so calm and full of serene joy - the very best thing for a friend to see. And Piet was his happy, playful self. No panic, no nerves. These two just couldn’t wait to get married! Oh I just had the happiest, happiest heart!

Have a look at the incredible DIY details: Eugenie-Lien folded dozens of paper flowers, had wooden crates made and stenciled them, stitched 400m of doilie bunting (isn’t it just breathtaking?) while her creative mom and dad did the flowers and made yummies for the dessert table and her father in law made sure dinner was delicious Karoo meat. It was a huge family and friends effort!

Isn’t it just wonderful?

Candice & Justin’s dream-like wedding day

We posted Candice & Justin’s romantic wedding invitations a few weeks back and today, we are super excited to show you a snippet of what their dreamy wedding day looked like!

Candice was a SouthBound Bride real life bride so she shared all her inspiration and wedding planning with us, but still… the detail and pretty touches on their special day, is just mind blowing.

Head on over to SouthBound Bride for the full post… it really is just incredible! Alicia Swedenborg and Catherine Mac did such a fantastic job capturing this day.

Phillipa & Mike’s Romantic Celebration

Say the word ‘wedding’ & most people have a few things pop into their heads. Beautiful flowers, exquisite white dress & beaming bride are probably among the things that come to mind. This wedding is all those things (& more) executed in the MOST elegant way. What a joy to be a part of making it happen.

I’ll leave you with a few favorites & then send you over to the lovely Catherine Mac to sigh a bit, & pin your heart out. I could post every picture I’ve seen - especially those flowers!

Also, you should know about Theresa from Creation Events who is just fantastic! She helped the families pull this whole day together while the happy couple live all the way over in New York New York.

The rest of this wedding is on Catherine Mac Photography & on The Pretty Blog. You’ll find lots of inspiration on both those websites!

Warm Plum & Botanical Charm - George & Janah

Janah was the most lovely of clients! Even though we never met in person, we were SO excited to see photos of her wedding day. As you’ll see she has impeccable taste! This is the invitation we made for their special day.

Their wedding day was full of charm; warm & classy but still fun. Marelie their photographer does really creative work, & her style complemented the couples style so well.

We also loved seeing how well the stationery she chose worked in with the overall feel of the day; botanical inspiration & a thread of gorgeous rich plum colours. Okasie did an outstanding job with the flowers, as usual.

More of this wedding on Marlie’s website , & on The Pretty Blog - feast your eyes!

David & Sarah - Destination SA

From their first email we were excited to work on pretties for this faraway couple. Based in the UK & planning a classy destination wedding on our sunny shores, there were rumours of origami & bursts of colour. We were hooked.

When they popped into the studio a few days before their wedding they were so relaxed & sunkissed; fresh off the beach & totally into each other. This was going to be one awesome wedding day!

We’re delighted to be able to show you some work by the lovely Tasha Seccombe whose images tells the story of this day so beautifully.

You just have to look through the rest of Tasha’s photographs from this wedding - it was a party! Look out for cufflinks, confetti, Jimmy Choos & dance moves.

My brother and his beautiful wife

My brother and I, are kinda tight. Being just 2 siblings, and born only 17 months apart, we don’t know this world without each other. So yes, special days like this, it gets us all emotional!

The beautiful bride, Marike has been part of our family for.ever. They met in 1998 when they were both in St 8, loved each other but allowed the world to take them on their separate paths, until those paths led back to each other (corny, I know… but true!). You can just imagine the amount of happiness, joy and love this day was wrapped in!

Friends and family traveled to Vleesbaai (where Marike’s family spent their summer holidays growing-up) on Thursday and Friday to spend the weekend in one of the most beautiful places in the Cape. Saturday was absolutely breathless with not a hint of wind, a warm ocean and plenty excitement.

A big reception tent was pitched on Die Bult, the exact spot the family pitch their summer holiday tents.

The evening, still windless, with an almost full moon rising over the ocean was beyond special. We danced until the early hours of the morning, laughed and soaked up the joy.

Wishing you only the bestest best things, dear Brother and Marike. xx

Thank you Modern Hearts for capturing this day with so much love and care. Hop on over to their blog for more!

Sally & Jonny’s day full of love

What a sweet family, sweet couple and sweet sweet wedding captured perfectly by Jani B Photography.

We met the Joubert sisters together with their amazing mom (Malita Joubert Catering) for a chat about Sally’s wedding and must admit, we didn’t quite know that the eldest, Maudre, was a wedding planner of note. Seeing the end result, our jaws literally dropped. Maudre transformed their family farm into something absolutely spectacular - filled with detail but still real, heartfelt and true.

What a gorgeous celebration and how happy we are to have played a small part in it!

Annemarie & Stephan’s Pretoria celebration

YAY! I shared my beautiful sister in law and wonderful husband’s save the date with you last year and am so excited to finally get these pictures of their wedding day on our blog!

Annemarie and Stephan wanted to celebrate in the city of their hearts, Pretoria, and wanted to show her off in all her Jacaranda clad beauty!

The attention to detail was incredible! We made sooooo many fortune teller menus, folded what felt like a gazillion letters (Annemarie & Stephan wrote personalised letters to every one of their lucky guests) and everything that could, had a sticker on it! Every single detail just had heaps and heaps of love, attention and care injected into it - they really did make the guests feel so loved! Oh and don’t even get me started on this amazing colour palette!

Head on over to Picture me&u to see more!

Melissa & Brendon’s Wedding Day

Oh how I wished we could have attended this beautiful wedding of our friends, Brendon & Melissa! It was held at one of my all time favourite Johannesburg spots, 44th on Stanley, and as you can see from the lovely images by Lizelle Lotter, Melissa just has such style and grace.

I loved the natural, down to earth look and the great attention to detail (we had fun making little gift labels and note cards, dessert stickers and signs…everything lovingly dreamed up by the creative bride).

Justin & Monique’s Hidden Valley Celebration

Monique & Justin’s wedding was just so relaxed and lovely - beautiful, but you can tell they get what is the most important things in life.

The day was filled with family, friends, love and laughter (oh gosh, and a flock of beautiful origami birds!). We did just a few stationery items for them, but had to show you how lovely their programs turned out. The pure simplicity of black ink on kraft swoon.

Peartree did such an amazing job at capturing the spirit of this beautiful day.

Beautiful Bush Wedding

Oh gosh, how lovely!

A wedding surrounded by sugarcane fields and mango plantations, wild life and bush sounds. The farm overlooks the Crocodile river and Kruger National Park - of course the wedding was going to be amazing!

Add old world elegance, touches of gold, a smiling couple (oh, and did we mention little gold-sprayed animals for each guest?!). Then get welovepictures to capture it all. Nothing short of wonderful!

Head on over to the welovepictures blog for all the details!

Bernard & Elsa’s Joy-filled Day

Donovan & Emma’s Celebration

Emma & Donovan’s beautiful wedding was featured on The Pretty Blog last week and we just couldn’t resist putting some pretty pictures up on our blog too.

After doing the save the dates and invitation for this couple, we knew the wedding day was going to be incredible. And oh boy, it was. Nikki Meyer did an amazing job, capturing all the lovely details, textures and elements without missing any of the joy and love of the special day at Roodezandt.

If you adore old-world romance, you are going to love this!

Baikagile & Botlhale’s Celebration

We can’t get over how perfectly Wesley Vorster captured the beauty of Botlhale and Baikagile’s special day! We absolutely loved working with Botlhale on some of her goodies for their 10 year vow renewal and spent the good portion of a morning “oohing” and “ahhing” over her gorgeous photos!

One of the best things about the work we do is meeting and working with wonderful people and it’s even better better when they like us back – yay! Botlhale had some very lovely words for us:

Thanks a mil for making our day really beautiful. There are some things in life that are worth more than what you paid for them, your service is one such!!!”

Botlhale you’re such a sweetheart!

Enjoy looking through these lovely pictures and get ready to have a big smile on your face at the end of it :)

Bonnie & Antonie’s beautiful day

When I stumbled upon these photos I just had to post them, even though the blogpost is waaaaay overdue. Bonnie looked just a.mazing and Antonie didn’t look half bad himself ;) Their beautiful wedding was at The Roundhouse in Camps Bay - just look at our little pieces peeking out!

Beautiful wedding - Katy & Stephen

Wow, I love these guys.

Katy & Stephen live on the other side of the world, but it feels like I already know them. We did some kick ass save the dates for them, then the invitations for the first part of their wedding celebrations (in Aus) and are now starting on the invitations for I Do Part II. Seriously cannot wait!

I literally jumped right out of my seat this morning when Katy sent me the link to the photos of their wedding day. How absolutely cool are they?!? Flip! ;) Oh, and Bennett Photography, you rock! See more of their photos here

Etienne and Annemi’s beautiful day

Gorgeous couple, Annemi & Etienne got married at Nooitgedacht a few weeks back and we got to help Royal Blu (oh they did SUCH an amazing job with the decor and flowers!) pretty up with some stationery. Nikki Meyer captured it just perfectly!

Liza & Nico’ Red Ivory family affair

First we got to create the awesomest silkscreened balloon save the dates (goodie, they used them in the portrait session!), then we designed one of our all time favorite wedding invitations and THEN we had the privilege of being involved in the stationery for the day. Oh man, the goodness of this wedding “starts in your toes makes you wrinkle your nose”. It’s that good! ;)

I have never seen a couple that makes cool look so effortless! Check how they are rocking those glasses in the confetti shots! ;) Love it!

Thank you Liza and Nico for being super stars and thank you Blackframe Photography for capturing their special day just perfectly. Check our more of their photos here

Jeanine & Roan’s Stylish Affair

Jeanine & Roan got married at the beautiful Rhebokskloof in Paarl and celebrated amongst hundreds of tulips. SO lovely!

Lynette and Kobus’ Liefdesfees

I have been wanting to blog, Lynette and Kobus’ AMAZING wedding for quite some time now. Yesterday it was featured on Ruffled and I just decided to jump on the celebratory band wagon and show you all how cool it was!

You might remember their cooler-than-cool save the date and their kicking-it-old-school post card invitation that they were brave enough to pop in the post as is. AND you will also remember how I couldn’t stop blabbering on how awesome these two people are. Well, have a look at their wedding – filled to the brim with joy and love, creativity, laughter, relaxed style, friends and family. What is not to love? Creating their wedding stationery couldn’t be more fun!
